Enjoying the Kohl Children’s Museum – Free!

Looking for a fun and educational way to spend those late-winter days with your kids or grandkids? Paul Tuscher, a Prairie QC technician in Northern Illinois, recommends a visit to the Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago.
“My wife Colleen and I recently took our daughter, Margaret, to the Kohl for her 2nd birthday,” Paul says, “and we had a great time.” Margaret found plenty to do inside the Hands-On House exhibit sponsored by Prairie – a real, 3-D model that shows kids how homes are built from the inside out.
Did you know that all Prairie families are eligible to visit the museum free of charge? When you arrive, just use the “Member Express” entry line and show proof of employment – a pay stub, employee ID or a business card. You and all your family members living in the same household will be admitted free. (If you’re a grandparent, you and your grandkids will all receive free admission regardless of household.) Regular admission is $9.50 for adults and children, and $8.50 for seniors and grandparents.
The museum is located at 2100 Patriot Blvd., Glenview. View hours

Free admission offer valid through October 1, 2015. If the Prairie employee is unable to attend, admission benefits may be transferred to a spouse or a caregiver carrying proof of employment.
